Celebrating their 60th anniversary in 2026, Educational Opportunity Centers (EOCs) and Outreach Centers (OCs) have provided tuition-free programs and services in New York’s urban centers. Whether your goals are in the classroom – from earning your high school diploma to preparing for college and improving your English language skills – or in the workplace – from learning new skills to earning certifications and other necessary credentials – EOCs can help you take the next step in life. Along the way, you’ll receive support with entering college and securing a job, as well as help addressing challenges like food and housing insecurity. Each EOC offers a welcoming and loving environment for students and, best of all, it’s tuition-free for all who qualify.
